How predictions work
Current and predicted team and player strength from completed professional games. Predicted rating places verified future-form rank on the current rating scale.

Teams: series results, opponent strength, and uncertainty. Beating a strong team carries more information than beating a weak one.
Players: ratings show the method that passed for that update. The performance-adjusted method uses game results, opposing-lineup strength, uncertainty, and a smaller adjusted individual-performance signal.
Predicted rating: recent form estimates where the rating is moving. More tournament evidence narrows uncertainty. Small samples stay closer to the current rating.
